Crew Love: A Ride With R&B Singer DeMeir

It's been a minute since we've done a "Crew Love" shoutout, huh? Well, we're back for the 2-1, and we decided to jumpstart things for the new year with the future of New Jersey's burgeoning music scene, R&B singer DeMeir

At 27 years old, DeMeir is a self-assured musician that has complete control over the vocal talents he was blessed with, and it doesn't hurt that he knows how to clean up and pull out a fresh 'fit when it matters.

Being that we are in the midst of New York Fashion Week, the PRIVILEGE Crew decided to take a ride through Midtown with "De" as he played us some of his favorite tunes and gave us a brief look into his life of fly fashion and even flyer cars — he was whipping it in a fast & flashy one during our time with the budding star!

His new EP, Player 1, is a great testament to his talents. The six-song project clocks in at just 16 minutes, but in that time you get to understand that The Jerz definitely has something to say that doesn't always have to be delivered with bars either; DeMeir proves that sometimes a falsetto is just enough.

The pieces you see DeMeir rocking in this feature include the LFYT Lafayette x Dee Pro Crewneck Sweatshirt ($120 USD), LFYT Lafayette x Dee Flower L/S Tee ($48 USD), Saints & Sinners Dog Panther Pullover Sweatshirt ($120 USD), LFYT Lafayette x KILLIMAN JAH LOW WORKS Vibes and Stuff Pullover Sweatshirt ($120), LFYT Lafayette Logo Dad Hat ($40 USD), PRIVILEGE New York Micro Logo Crewneck Sweatshirt ($100 USD), Lafayette REFLECTIVE LINE BOMBER JACKET ($280, but currently on sale for $200!) and a simple Lafayette Logo Long Beanie ($36 USD) — all available online and in-store at our NYC flagship location on 153 Essex Street.

If DeMeir's forthcoming music projects are anything as good as his current sense of style, the future is looking very bright for this young R&B crooner...

Then again, we found that he looks pretty fresh when it's dark out as well.
