As the Drakes, Kendricks, and Coles of the world slowly age into their veteran status within hip-hop, a new wave of emcees have started popping up that are vying to be next up in line to take over the game. While New York rap experienced a tragic loss earlier this year with Pop Smoke, Brooklyn's number one contender to lead NYC back to the top, it now looks like that weight will be put on another burgeoning rapper from the borough: Fivio Foreign.
Fivio is definitely a friend of the shop, as you can see above when he helped us roll out a few pieces earlier this year that you can still cop in-store and online. While fans are still waiting for Fivio's debut album to drop after "going viral" last year with his breakout hit "Big Drip," the East Flatbush native has definitely been keeping busy on the music scene — hits like "Demons," a top 40 banger alongside Drake and Sosa Geek, and "Zoo York," a collab with Lil Tjay and the late Pop Smoke, are just some of his recent stints on the Billboard Hot 100. We're sure he has a few surprises in store for everyone, including one with us that we'll let you guys find out about later, so just keep an eye out for the homie.
Check out Fivio Foreign's new collab with Keemo Bankz that just dropped called "Demon Call" below, along with his latest EP titled 800 BC and a few shots of him rocking PRIVILEGE and Lafayette gear shot by our local Renaissance Man himself Dee Knows:
