Crew Love: Xtassy of A&X

Even though we've all been through some scary hours recently here in the Big Apple and across the world in general, we couldn't let the week go by without giving out a dose of crew love! This time we're sending a big shoutout to our guy Xtassy, a producer with a musical midas touch so golden that he even has a Grammy to prove it.

Alongside the equally talented Alcover, Xtassy formed the production duo A&X that is probably best known for blessing Don Omar with the insanely huge reggaton hit "Danza Kuduro" featuring Lucenzo — it's literally one of YouTube's most watched videos of all-time. Other hits they produced for Don Omar include his Fast Five soundtrack banger "Taboo" and that Natti Natasha collab "Dutty Love" which won the Billboard Latin Music Award for "Latin Rhythm Airplay Song of the Year." Contributing to the Don Omar Presents MTO²: New Generation album is what garnered Xtassy the Latin Grammy for "Best Urban Music Album" in 2012, and he's been pretty much killing it ever since. Oh, and did we mention he brings A-list actresses like Orange is the New Black star Dascha Polanco by the store to shop?

Salute our brother Xtassy by checking out one of our favorite hits that he produced, in addition to a few flicks of him rocking PRIVILEGE and Lafayette gear:
