Crew Love: 6LACK

Had to add an extra "r" on that one, given the weather in the city today — enjoy, NYC fam! We're back on our Crew Love flex this week, honoring those in the music industry that rock PRIVILEGE and Lafayette in their regular wardrobe.

We took things back a few weeks for the latest honoree, whose name has created that ever-debated "Is it 'Six-Lack' or 'Slack'?" conversation, which we assume the latter choice is popular because the number 6 starts with an "s"...?...anyway! Our boy "Black" — official pronunciation, by the way! — looked extra fresh in his music video with Lil Tjay for "Calling My Phone" that dropped last month.

Long gone from the shop, the Lafayette Script Logo New Era 9FIFTY snapback is definitely a classic and simple gem from the vault. The rest of the video shows him in equally-fresh garbs as well by way of a $245 CELINE beanie and KAPITAL's Bandana Print Nylon Keel-Weaving Vest, which would've costed you a cool $2,550 at Bodega if it wasn't already sold out.

6LACK also rocked our hat while gracing the cover of the independently Black-owned PREME MAGAZINE last year, so extra props for that look too, fam'ron!

There's not too much to say on his name since most, if not all of y'all already know how dope he is, being a whole three-time GRAMMY-nominated and MTV Video Music Award-winning musician and all. What many people might not know is that the dude really knows his way around a closet, and we're just glad that Lafayette is a part of the style rotation. Bless up, fam!

Stream "Calling My Phone" below after peeping the music video above, and then check out a few other flicks from his IG that give a better idea at just how fly this guy really is:
